Jonah Carrier Scores in OT for Eagles

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were 10 games played today and only one close one as Irondequoit faceoff specialist Jonah Carrier scored an unassisted goal at 3:53 in overtime to lift the Eagles over Penfield. Penn Yan Head Coach Brian Hobart joins Randy Garrett (Fairport 371) and John Johnson (Canandaigua 357) in the 300 Club with the win today.

Irond at PenfIRONDEQUOIT-7 at PENFIELD-6 in overtime - Senior midfielder Jonah Carrier scored the overtime game winner for Irondequoit with 00:03:53 left in overtime. The game was close throughout with five ties as the teams traded goals with the greatest difference of only two goals when the Eagles were up 6-4 in the fourth quarter. With 3:30 left in regulation, Eathan Aust (3g) scored and then with 0:22 left, scored again. Both were unassisted. BISHOP KEARNEY-6 at BLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE-17 - The Pride scored six goals in the first quarter and added four more in the second on their way to their win at FFCC. Senior attackman Liam Roach (4g-2a) and Senior offensiveman Jonathan Nelson (4g) both reached their 50th career goal in the game. GATES CHILI-2 at HFL-15 in a Monroe County D-3 game - The Cougars scored the first twelve goals and led 12-0 at the half. Scoring for HFL (6-1) were Grady Goodberlet (4g-1a), Quinn Kailbourne (2g-1a), Luke Weiler (1g-2a), and Rowan Lyle (2g). Leading the scoring were John Harding (3g-1a), Vincenzo Giangreco (1g-2a), Domenic Giangreco (2g-1a), and AJ Quagrello (1g-1a). Senior attackman Jack MacMillan scored his first Varsity goal in the game. Greyson Hathway ( 1g-1a) won 24 of 26 faceoffs for the Mustangs while Freshman goalkeeper Jaxon Jensen had 3s/1ga = 75% (24 mins), and Freshman Miles Ditzell had 3s/2ga = 60% (24 mins). Irond at PenfCHURCHVILLE-CHILI-3 at GREECE STORM-9 -  The Storm had even scoring throughout the game with performances by Andrew Hill (3g-3a), James Maccallini (2g-2a), and Carter Fabian (2g).
