Will DiMarco driving from behind and then feeding to Harding gave the Knights another goal and a three point lead at 9:36. After that, the next three goals were from the Dalers. Cuinn Sunde received the ball on the crease from O`Keefe at 7:49 and less than minute later O~Keefe scored on a sweep. Farmingdale scored after picking the ball up in front of the crease to tie the game at 7-7. Both teams had an opportunity to score in regulation, but with saves by both Gordon and James Caputo, the teams remained tied, forcing overtime.
After three minutes of transition and a couple of saves at both ends of the field, South Side scored an amazing five unanswered goals in the span of five minutes to take their first lead of the game. Michael Aiello (3g-2a) and Lynch both scored unassisted goals, followed by a pair from Liam Livingston (2g-2a) and final goal from Cole DiPietro (2g-1a) who received a clearing pass after coming through the substitution area. The Cyclones were up 10-9, but at the 2:50 mark, long stick middie Matt Langan scored on a cross field pass from Clinkscales and less than a minute later Jackson Mead (1g-1a) scored on a pass from Herendeen to tie and then give Victor the lead with 1:30 left in regulation. In yet another amazing play, Aiello circled the back of the cage and with less than one second left on the clock he shot while falling down and put the ball in the upper corner for the 11-11 tie and overtime. On the first possession DiPietro scored the game winner.
MARCELLUS-15 at AQUINAS-8 - In the first game of the day at SUNY Cortland, Aquinas (16-6) played a very skilled Marcellus (Section III) team and lost 15-8. The Mustangs took a 4-1 lead in the first quarter and led 6-3 at the half, but the second half belonged to Marcellus as they scored nine second half goals while hold Aquinas to five. Sophomore midfielder Nick Rayfields owned the day, scoring seven goals and three assists for the 19-1 Mustangs who will move on to the finals where they will play Cold Spring Harbor, who defeated them in the finals last year. Senior attackman Jack Herendeen finished with 2g-2a and was named the All-Tournament MVP. Much like the earlier game of the evening, this game was a defensive battle. Both goalies, Irondequoit's Sven Habitzreuther and Victor's Parker Erwin were named to the All-Tournamanet team. Both Habitzreuther and Erwin recorded 10 saves for their respective teams. Offensively for the Eagles, Jonah Carrier finished with 3g to head his team; in addition to being named to the All-Tournament Team, it was also announced tonight that he was named the Section V Offensive Player of the Year. 
The first quarter saw a flurry of scoring with both teams putting three into the back of the cage. Irondequoit scored the opener with Carrier scoring unassisted less than a minute into the contest. Three minutes later Victor scored their first goal. Tanner Radogna scored with an outside shot (assisted by Brody Secker). Secker finished with 1g-1a and was named to the All-Tournament team for the Blue Devils. Victor took their first lead of the game 2-1 with Jackson Mead scoring the first of his two goals. The play started after Christian Beasaw caught the ball behind the cage after a missed shot. He quickly turned the ball around to Mead along the left side the crease. Much like the second, the third quarter was a defensive battle. Only a single goal was scored with Victor going back on top 5-4. Herendeen got his first point with an assist to Secker. All four of his points were in the second half. In the fourth quarter, Victor came out swinging and added two more goals before Irondequoit responded. Herendeen assisted another goal, this one to Besaw. This was followed quickly by Mead's second goal of the night (unassisted). The Blue Devils' had their largest lead of the night with 9:58 left on the clock (7-4).

FARMINGDALE-7 at MCQUAID JESUIT-8 in overtime in a NYS Championship game - After winning their first Sectional Title and entering their first NYS Championship, the Knights were considered by many as the underdogs to Farmingdale of Section VII who boast some exceptional individual players. McQuaid scored the first two goals as AJ Quagrello scored on passes from Jon Harding and Liam Palmer. Senior attackman Caden Lennon who is headed to Bryant next year scored for the Dalers and the first quarter ended at 2-1. Star attackman, Brendan O`Keefe (Albany) had a big second quarter, scoring two unassisted goals and assisting on another. As the score went back and forth, McQuaid saw two goals from Vincenzo Giangreco (one with an assist from John Harding). The half ended in a 4-4 tie. The Third quarter saw two unanswered goals from McQuaid, the first by Eoin Meyer from Harding on a feed to the crease, and the second on a bull dodge by JP Gianforti. In the second quarter, each team added one goal. Victor took another lead with the first goal in man-up. Christian Besaw scored the first of his 2g-1a with a feed from Aiden Clinkscales only 0:32 into the quarter. The majority of the quarter was back and forth with both teams having a chance at the cage and both defenses standing strong. Irondequoit's goal was scored with 0:08 remaining on the clock. Carrier scored his third goal with another unassisted goal. This time with a straight drive at the goal from the top. The score remained tied (4-4) going into halftime.
Irondequoit attempted a comeback with back-to-back scoring. Cooper Moore scored the first goal and then turned around to assist the second (Oliver Grisdale scoring). However, it was not enough and Victor`s Herendeen tacked on to more goals to close out the game and send Victor to the State Tournament. THOMAS-8 at IRONDEQUOIT-9 in overtime - As one would expect, senior midfielder Jonah Carrier scored the overtime game-winner at 2:43 in the first overtime period. Thomas tied the game in man-up with 3:44 left in regulation and the Titans gain control of the ball first in the overtime period. Irondequoit goalie Sven Habitzreuther mad a point-blank save and cleared the ball eventually to Carrier. Scoring for Irondequoit (14-3) were Cooper Moore (4g), Carrier (3g), and Dylan Carey (2g).
