Pittsford Offensive midfielder (A/M), Sonny Imburgia recently announced his commitment to SUNY Binghamton. After earning a spot on the Class A All-Tournament team, Sonny added 11-4a in the post-season to end his sophomore season with 31-g-15a.

In the off-season he has played with the Sweetlax Club, playing, in the last year at the NLF Main Event and Elite Fall Invitational, Sweetlax Summer Showcase and Invitational and the Future Phenoms tournaments.

There are currently two Section Five alums at Binghamton. Sonny will join Mike DeMarco (Victor), Jon Perotto (Pittsford) when he graduates in 2019.

Before selecting the Bearcats, Sonny considered Hobart, UMass and Jacksonville.
