Dave Stein Moves to FLCC

This summer, Dave Stein, former Head Coach of the Newark Reds, accepted the Head Coaching position at Finger Lakes Community College. Before Newark, Stein started the lacrosse program at the Aquinas Institute (Rochester). A home-town player, Stein played his high school lacrosse for Webster, before attending Michigan State, where was selected team captain.

The FLCC is a two year college, playing as part of NJCAA Region III lacrosse. Players can expect to play two years at FLCC and then move on for two more years in division I. II or III. Previous players have gone on to play at Cortland, Brockport, Geneseo and Plattsburgh. The FLCC Lacrosse website is available here.

A replacement at Newark has yet to be announced.
