SportsFive Rankings - Week 1

The first week of games is done, and although not all teams played, SportsFive is ready to publish the first Week Rankings of Section Five teams.

There is only one change from last week's "Preseason" list, as most teams performed as expected. Geneva moves up to the top spot in Class B as a result of the HFL-Schroeder score.

A few of the scores were surprising but teams have generally won as predicted so everyone else stays where they were... for the moment.

RESULTS
Fairport over Thomas (13-5) - Penfield over Hilton (19-1), Irondequoit over GC (13-3), Schroeder over HFL (9-2).

Geneva lost to Henninger (9-7), HFL lost to Schroeder (9-2).

Livonia beat Newark (10-7), Aquinas beat Nichols (13-12 OT).
