The State poll is out today and eleven Section Five teams made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association. Canandaigua tops the Section Five Class A teams, moving from #14 to #13. Other Class A teams include Irondequoit (#14) and Schroeder (#15). Churchville-Chili, Fairport, Penfield and Webster Thomas made the honorable mention list.
  
In Class B, Geneva moved down again from #9 to #11 while McQuaid Jesuit remained an honorable mention team and in Class C, Penn Yan dropped to the 11th spot (from #9) and Livonia takes an honorable mention.
  
The top spots in week three went to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Huntington (Section 11) in Class B and Cold Springs Harbor (Section 8) in Class C.
