Gates Chili improved its record to 11-3 with a 16-1 win over visiting Greece Arc/Oly in the only game played on Friday.

 Gates Chili wasted no time, scoring seven goals in the first quarter and seven more before the half as the defeated the Greece Lightning (Arc/Oly) 16-1 at home.

Scoring for the Spartans were Tom Elkins (3g-2a); Jeff Fichtner and Mike Greene with 3g each, Tom Sudek (2g-2a), Grant Ferguson (2g-3a), Brad Weber (2g-5a) and Tyler Webb (1g-1a). Jason Baetzhold had (8s/1ga). Gates improves to 11-3. No report for Arc/Oly (0-12).
