The week number six state poll is out today and thirteen Section Five teams make the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

In Class A, Fairport moves up from number 10 to number 9 and Pittsford moves down from number 12 to number 14.

In Class B, Canandaigua moves from number 4 to number 3. Thomas moves from number ten to number six. Brighton moves up from number 15 to number 14 while McQuaid Jesuit and Irondequoit remain on the Honorable Mention list this week.

In Class C, Penn Yan remains at number 9 and Aquinas remains at number 12 while Palmyra-Macedon and Geneva are joined by Bloomfield-Honeoye on the Honorable Mention list.

The top spots in week six go to West Islip (Section 11) in Class A, Jamesville-DeWitt (Section 3) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
