The Brighton Lacrosse Booster Club is, once again, organizing a project to collect items for soldiers serving in Afghanistan. Brighton, like other communities, has former players serving overseas and have found that the items listed below are greatly appreciated by the soldiers.

If you are going to Brighton for a game this season think about bringing some of the items on the list and turn them in at the concession stand. You could drop off items before your game. . . Or if not watching the game, make a donation anyway.

Items requested: Gold Bond foot powder, waterless toothbrushes, sunscreen, baby wipes (thick), hot hands and feet (cold temps at night), powdered Gatorade for water bottles, protein and fiber bars (no chocolate), trail mix and beef jerky.

Here is a chance to make difference.
