Rising sophomore, Jamie Trimboli, announced on Friday that he has given his verbal commitment to John Desko and Syracuse University.

With only one year with the Greece Athena/Odyssey "Thunder", Trimboli scored 33g-15a as a freshman.

Off-season he has played with the SweetLax Club for the last two years. He played in the King of Hill Tournament, the Maverik Showtime and the Crabfest with his Club and also played on the Under Armour All America 2016 Uncommitted Team.

At the Maverik Showtime Camp he was named to the All-Star team and placed second in the fastest shot clock (95 mph).

Before selecting Syracuse Trimboli considered Notre Dame, Harvard, North Carolina and Duke.
