DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were just two games played today. Geneva beat visiting Marcus Whitman and Brockport defeated Batavia-Notre Dame.
MARCUS WHITMAN-2 at GENEVA-15 - In Finger Lakes action, the Panthers took control right out of the box, taking an 11-1 lead in the first half, receiving offense from Max Heieck (3g-4a), Jeremy Askin (3g-2a), and Jack Dunham (2g-1a). Askin faced off and recorded18+/2- = 90% and in the goal for Geneva, Paul Williams had 3s/2ga = 60% (48 mins). BROCKPORT-11 at BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME-4 - Brockport won their first game of the season with offensive efforts by Sophomore attackman Ryan Miller (2g-4a), and Junior offensiveman Tyler Houseman (4g). Junior midfielder Jayden Taylor (1g-1a), attackman Cole Davis, and Freshman defenseman Mason Scott each scored their first Varsity goal and face off specialist Cole Davis recorded 10+/6- = 63%. Scoring for Batavia-Notre Dame were Senior midfielder Quintin Cummings (2g-1a), Sophomore face off midfielder Harold Mellander (1g), Junior Gavynn Trippany (1g), Sophomore defenseman Aiden Kopper (1a), and Sophomore midfielder Austin Griffin (1a).
