Game Report: Tue - 03/30/2004

Four games were scheduled for Tuesday under spring-like skies. Webster Thomas took on Amherst of Section 6 at St. John Fisher College. The Tigers went right to work picking up six goals in the first quarter while holding the Titans to three and a game then ended 17-5.
  
The second quarter belonged to Amherst, scoring 6 more while shutting out Thomas. The last half was closer as Webster scored 2 and Amherst scored 5.
Webster attackmen, John Schumacher scored 2g-1a, Kevin Kemp and Jeff Casper each added one goal.
Mike Pizzuto (attack) scored 3g-3a and Rich Corey (attack) scored 3g-1a for Amherst (1-1).
  
In other Tuesday games, Haverling-Haverling opened their 2004 season with a decisive win over host, Greece Odyssey, 13-5 behind the efforts of attackmen Liam Glover (5g) and Mike Fusco (4g-2a). Odyssey's Attackman, Joe Hallowell scored 2g-1a.
  
Geneva lost their season opener, 13-5 against Henninger of Section 3 (Syracuse). Matt Warner scored 1g-3a and Dan Rago added 2g for the Panthers (0-1).
