The week number two state poll is out today and twelve Section Five teams make the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

In Class A, Fairport moved up from number 8 to number 7 while the Greece Thunder (Ath/Ody) and Pittsford continue to make the Honorable Mention list.

In Class B, Canandaigua starts out in the Number one slot. Brighton moved up from number 15 to number 14 while Irondequoit, McQuaid Jesuit and Thomas make Honorable Mention again this week.

In Class C, Penn Yan remains in number 5 and Aquinas moves up from number eleven to number ten while Palmyra-Macedon remains on the Honorable Mention list. Midlakes has been added to the HM list this week.

The top spots in week one go to West Islip (Section 11) in Class A, Canandaigua in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
