Six Different Brighton Players Score
BRIGHTON-14 at AQUINAS-6 - Brighton beat Aquinas 14-6 Friday evening in a non-league game, moving to 8-2. Six different Barons found the net twice, and freshman Chase LaBudde scored his first career varsity goal in the win. Aquinas falls to 5-6.
Senior Ben Marangola led Brighton with three goals and an assist, while Austin Flaum, Jimmy Kazel, Tim Tourangeau and seventh grader Red Wolk each added two goals and an assist. LaBudde and Kiki Condon each scored one, and Teddy Carl added another. In goal, senior Logan Serve made nine saves on 14 shots (64%) over 46 minutes.
For Aquinas, freshman Kellan Campe and senior Caleb Wood each scored two goals, with freshman Chase Acker and sophomore Antonio Valerie each adding one. Senior Jake Bell, Parker Wegman and Gibson each contributed an assist. In goal, senior Jake Gibson made 19 saves on 33 shots (58%) over 48 minutes.
Brighton travels to Hamburg on Saturday, May two. Aquinas hosts Haverling on Wednesday, May six.
