Reger, Brien Lead Hilton over Fairport

April 29, 2026 - HILTON-13 at FAIRPORT-5 - Hilton beat Fairport 13-5 Wednesday evening in a Monroe County D-1 game, extending its winning streak to eight games and moving to 10-1. The Cadets built a 13-0 lead before Fairport scored five times in the second half. The night featured a pair of faceoff milestones, with Hilton's sophomore Lucas Grizzanti and Fairport's senior Ryan Knapp each reaching 100 career faceoff wins.

Junior Tyler Reger and sophomore Drew Brien each led Hilton with three goals and an assist. Senior Jack Palmer added two goals and an assist, senior Cahlan Smith chipped in two goals, and Anthony Mitrano, Gianluca Auriuso and Kyle Taddeo each scored one. In goal, sophomore Brendan Maxwell made six saves on 11 shots (55%) over 44 minutes.

For Fairport, five different players scored — Ryan Priddy, Aleksander Buczek, Marco Provenzano, CJ Trumble and Jack Gosiewski each finding the net with one goal. Priddy added an assist, and Knapp contributed an assist alongside his milestone faceoff win. Fairport falls to 5-5.

Hilton travels to West Genesee on Saturday morning. Fairport is at Spencerport on Friday evening.
