For Pittsford (5-0), junior Grant Lewis led with five goals, while senior Avery Valenti added three goals and two assists and junior Trevor Nally contributed three goals. Junior Cole Goetz added one goal and three assists, and freshman Griffin Goetz and Ben Zombek each chipped in one goal. Griffin Goetz scored his first varsity goal and junior Madin Larose recorded his first varsity assist. Senior Peter Roussell reached 300 career faceoff wins, adding one win on the day to reach the milestone exactly. IRONDEQUOIT-12 at BALDWINSVILLE-15 - Baldwinsville handed Irondequoit its second loss of the season 15-12 on Saturday, with Irondequoit holding an 8-7 lead after three quarters before Baldwinsville outscored the Eagles 7-2 in the fourth. Senior Cooper Moore reached 200 career varsity goals during the game, finishing with two goals to hit the milestone exactly.

For Irondequoit (3-2), sophomore Kieran Stenzel and senior Colin Giudice each led with three goals, with Giudice adding one assist. Senior Dylan Carey and senior Riley Grisdale each contributed two goals and two assists, and Moore added two goals to reach his career milestone. Sam Thore contributed eight ground balls, four takes, and three faceoff wins.

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - It was a busy Thursday evening with eight games decided. Irondequoit edged Schroeder 12-11 in a fourth-quarter thriller, Geneva rolled past Greece Storm 18-7 behind big nights from Ryland Dunham and Ben Budgar, and East United-Eastridge survived a Gates Chili comeback to win 10-9 on the strength of Brien Walker's four goals. Bloomfield-Honeoye won their game with Brayden Arber recording his 100th career point, Churchville-Chili topped Wayne 10-7 with Cooper Lass leading the way with four goals, and Pittsford used a fast start, including three goals in under two minutes, to pull away from Hilton 15-7. Brighton opened its season with a win over Rush-Henrietta highlighted by seventh grader Red Wolk's first varsity goal and assist, while Victor held off Penfield 11-8 with Eli Ricci's five goals and 73% face-off rate powering the comeback win.

SCHROEDER-11 at IRONDEQUOIT-12 - Irondequoit opened its Monroe County D-2 season with a 12-11 win over Schroeder on Thursday, pulling away with a 4-3 fourth quarter after the teams were tied at six at halftime and Schroeder held a one-goal lead after three. Sophomore Kieran Stenzel and senior Cooper Moore each scored four goals for the Eagles, with Dylan Carey adding three assists, while Schroeder's sophomore Kai Nelson, recording his first varsity goal and assist, and junior JD Stockmann (one goal, three assists) led the Warriors' offense.
