DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - It was a big night across the region, with Thomas's Jonah Jobson reaching 50 career goals in a 16-5 win over Rush-Henrietta and Pittsford's Keegan Jacob surpassing 100 career faceoff wins in a 12-5 win at Penfield that kept the Panthers unbeaten at 6-0. Brighton remained perfect at 4-0 with a win over Gates Chili behind five goals each from Austin Flaum and Teddy Carl, while Penn Yan's Miles Ditzell reached 50 career goals in a 19-0 win over Mynderse-Romulus. Fairport earned its first win of the season at Pal-Mac, Midlakes opened its season with an 11-6 win over Churchville-Chili, and Schroeder extended its winning streak over Greece Storm to five straight with an 11-3 victory.

EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE-4 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-20 - Honeoye Falls-Lima picked up its third straight win with a 20-4 non-league victory over East United-Eastridge on Wednesday evening at home, scoring six goals in the first quarter and 10 more in the second to build an insurmountable lead. Eight different players scored for HF-L, which has now won all seven meetings with East United-Eastridge since 2021.

For Honeoye Falls-Lima (3-0), junior Grady Goodberlet led with nine goals and one assist, while senior Jackson Coon added four goals and junior Cash Arena contributed one goal and six assists. Ben Segar chipped in two goals, and three players scored their first varsity goals: senior Braden Fugate, freshman Jackson Tschiderer, and sophomore Benny Feinberg. Feinberg also went 17-for-22 at the faceoff dot (77%), and senior Sam Jokl added three wins in four attempts (75%). Junior Jason Bennett stopped eight shots for a 67% save percentage in goal.

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-0 at PENN YAN-19 - Penn Yan picked up a 19-0 non-league win over Mynderse-Romulus on Wednesday evening at home, scoring eight goals in the first quarter and nine more in the second. Ten different players scored for the Mustangs, who improve to 3-1 on the season.

For Penn Yan (3-1), senior Tukker Fisher led with three goals and three assists, while senior Braden Fingar added three goals and two assists and sophomore Greyson Hathway contributed three goals. Junior Miles Ditzell added two goals and one assist, reaching 50 career varsity goals in the process with 51 total. Freshman Logan Sprague chipped in two goals and two assists, and Collin Bacher added two goals. Three faceoff specialists combined to win 18-of-23 draws, with Ti'Jai Moorer going four-for-five (80%), Hathway 11-for-14 (79%), and freshman Phillip Durso three-for-four (75%). PITTSFORD-12 at PENFIELD-5 - Pittsford stayed unbeaten with a 12-5 non-league win at Penfield on Wednesday evening, taking a 7-2 lead after the first quarter and building from there. The win gives Pittsford five straight over Penfield in a series that stands at 18-17 all-time in Penfield's favor.

For Pittsford (6-0), junior Jahyden Maiorani led with three goals, while junior Jack Healy, junior Grant Lewis, junior Trevor Nally, and junior Cole Goetz each added two goals. Goetz also picked up one assist, and junior Charles Hezel recorded two assists, earning his first varsity assist in the process. Freshman Keegan Jacob went 11-for-16 at the faceoff dot (69%), surpassing 100 career faceoff wins with 107 total. Freshman Bear Wehrheim stopped eight shots for a 62% save percentage in 48 minutes.

For Penfield (2-3), senior Brodie Joyce led with two goals, while junior Harrison Easton and junior Jake Maurer each added one goal and one assist, and junior Griffin Banister chipped in one goal. GATES CHILI-3 at BRIGHTON-20 - Brighton remained unbeaten with a 20-3 non-league win over Gates Chili on Wednesday evening at home, scoring 10 goals in the first quarter and nine more in the second. Ten different players scored for the Barons, who extended their winning streak against Gates Chili to nine straight.

For Brighton (4-0), sophomore Austin Flaum and freshman Teddy Carl each led with five goals, with Flaum adding three assists. Sophomore Kiki Condon contributed one goal and three assists, Tim Tourangeau added two goals and two assists, and sophomore Quinn Huefner chipped in two goals. Red Wolk added one goal and two assists, and freshman Liam Cummins scored his first varsity goal. Senior Gavin Hayslip went 13-for-15 at the faceoff dot (87%) and senior Bilal Syed added six wins in 11 attempts (55%).

FAIRPORT-10 at PAL-MAC-8 - Fairport picked up its first win of the season with a 10-8 non-league victory at Pal-Mac on Wednesday evening, overcoming a slow start after being held scoreless in the first quarter. The Red Raiders outscored Pal-Mac 8-5 over the final three quarters to pull away.

For Fairport (1-3), freshman CJ Trumble led with two goals and three assists, while sophomore Grant Ralston added three goals. Sophomore Marco Provenzano contributed two goals, and senior Ryan Priddy chipped in one goal and one assist. Junior Carter Mitchell added one goal and one assist, recording his first varsity assist in the process. Senior Corey Roeser went 12-for-15 at the faceoff dot (80%) and senior Ryan Knapp went four-for-four (100%).

The win extends Schroeder's winning streak against Greece Storm to five straight.

For Schroeder (2-4), junior John Caricati led with three goals and one assist, picking up his first varsity assist in the process. Junior JD Stockmann added two goals, and Aiden Vollmer and Matt Schilling each contributed two goals. Junior Jonny May chipped in one goal and two assists, and Owen Martin added one goal. Junior Van Bolton stopped four shots for a 57% save percentage in 45 minutes.

RUSH-HENRIETTA-5 at THOMAS-16 - Thomas picked up its third win of the season with a 16-5 non-league victory over Rush-Henrietta on Wednesday evening at home, scoring five goals in each of the first two quarters to build a 10-3 halftime lead. Eight different players scored for the Titans, who extend their all-time series lead over Rush-Henrietta to 19-3.

For Thomas (3-2), sophomore Jonah Jobson reached 50 career varsity goals with four goals and one assist, pushing his total to 53. Sophomore Lucas Estelle added three goals and two assists, and junior Lucas Nuccotelli contributed one goal and three assists. Carter Chase and Blake Jipson each added two goals, and Logan Muisus chipped in two goals as well. Senior Joshua Jobson stopped four shots for a 67% save percentage in 32 minutes.

For Midlakes (1-0), freshman Walker Landschoot and junior James Sprague each led with three goals, with Landschoot adding two assists and Sprague one. Senior Nate Lathrop contributed two goals and one assist. Freshman Greyson Lathrop and eighth-grader Miles 30 minutes. Kornbau each scored their first varsity goals. For Churchville-Chili (1-4), senior Jaxon Leonard led with three goals, while senior Jack Sloan, sophomore Cooper Lass, and Brayden O'Mara each added one goal. DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - The boys lacrosse action was packed with milestones and close finishes. Pittsford stayed unbeaten at 4-0 on Avery Valenti's overtime goal at West Genesee, while Brighton remained perfect at 3-0 behind four goals from Austin Flaum and Logan Serve's 200th career save in a 9-7 win over McQuaid. Penfield's Brodie Joyce reached 100 career assists in a 12-5 win at Archbishop Stepinac, Penn Yan's Greyson Hathway surpassed 400 career faceoff wins in a loss to Thomas, and Victor's Eli Ricci hit the same milestone in a 14-10 win over a strong St. Andrews program in Florida. Irondequoit also bounced back from its first loss with a 9-7 win at Fairport, with Dylan Carey handing out five assists, and Aquinas got five goals from freshman Kellan Campe in a 10-6 win over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo.

PITTSFORD-9 at WEST GENESEE-8 in overtime - Pittsford stayed unbeaten with a 9-8 overtime win at West Genesee Thursday afternoon, rallying from a 3-1 first-quarter deficit to tie the game and force overtime, where senior midfielder Avery Valenti scored the game winner to keep the Panthers at 4-0.

For Pittsford (4-0), Valenti led with five goals, including the overtime winner, while junior Grant Lewis added four goals. Junior Max Morgenstern contributed three assists, and sophomore Luke Jutzin picked up his first varsity assist. Freshman Bear Wehrheim stopped 10 shots for a 56% save percentage in 48 minutes.

For West Genesee (0-2), Nash Oudemool led with three goals and Luke Lockwood added two goals. Liam Kelly contributed one goal and one assist, while Jeffrey Mercer and Riley McAloon each added one goal. Senior goalie Logan Serve reached 200 career saves in the process, finishing with 12 on the day.

For Brighton (3-0), sophomore Austin Flaum led with four goals and two assists, while freshman Jimmy Kazel added two goals and one assist. Freshman Teddy Carl contributed one goal and one assist, and Ben Marangola added one goal and one assist. Senior faceoff midfielder Gavin Hayslip surpassed 100 career faceoff wins, finishing with four wins on the day to reach 102 total. Serve stopped 12 shots for a 63% save percentage.

IRONDEQUOIT-9 at FAIRPORT-7 - Irondequoit bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 9-7 non-league win at Fairport on Thursday morning, jumping out to a 6-0 lead through two quarters before Fairport rallied to cut the deficit to two in the fourth quarter. Irondequoit held on to improve to 3-1.

For Irondequoit (3-1), senior Dylan Carey ran the offense with five assists, while senior Colin Giudice added two goals and one assist and senior Cooper Moore contributed two goals and one assist. Kieran Stenzel, Riley Grisdale, Travis Horton, Doug Velepec, and Hank Velepec each added one goal, with Grisdale also picking up an assist. Sophomore Matt Long went five-for-18 at the faceoff dot. Freshman goalie Nathaniel Reed was perfect in five minutes of play, and senior Colin Landrigan stopped nine shots for a 56% save percentage in 43 minutes.

For Fairport (0-3), sophomore Grant Ralston led with three goals, while senior Ryan Priddy added two goals and two assists and sophomore Marco Provenzano contributed two goals and two assists. For Penfield (2-2), senior attackman Brodie Joyce reached 100 career varsity assists, finishing with two goals and three assists to push his total to 102. Junior Cole Bellerose led with three goals, and junior Jake Maurer added one goal and three assists. Senior faceoff midfielder Colin Miller contributed two goals and one assist, scoring his first varsity goal, and sophomore Nick DiCataldo also scored his first varsity goal. For Aquinas (2-1), freshman Kellan Campe led with five goals and one assist, while senior Jack Bell added two goals and one assist and freshman Chase Acker contributed two goals. Freshman Parker Wegman added one goal and one assist. Acker and Campe scored their first varsity goal and assist respectively.
