Jobson Reaches 50 Goals as Thomas Tops R-H
RUSH-HENRIETTA-5 at THOMAS-16 - Thomas picked up its third win of the season with a 16-5 non-league victory over Rush-Henrietta on Wednesday evening at home, scoring five goals in each of the first two quarters to build a 10-3 halftime lead. Eight different players scored for the Titans, who extend their all-time series lead over Rush-Henrietta to 19-3.
For Thomas (3-2), sophomore Jonah Jobson reached 50 career varsity goals with four goals and one assist, pushing his total to 53. Sophomore Lucas Estelle added three goals and two assists, and junior Lucas Nuccotelli contributed one goal and three assists. Carter Chase and Blake Jipson each added two goals, and Logan Muisus chipped in two goals as well. Senior Joshua Jobson stopped four shots for a 67% save percentage in 32 minutes.
For Rush-Henrietta (2-3), senior Preston Jackson and senior Ronin Walker each led with two goals. Sophomore Myles Weaver added one goal, and freshman Noah Valenti picked up his first varsity assist. Freshman Jack Hogan stopped six shots for a 60% save percentage in 30 minutes.
