There were only two games played today. Geneva went to Horseheads (Section IV) and lost in overtime while Penfield played the first game under the lights on the turf field tonight and came away with their second win of the season. Full Story

Haverling WIns Game Against McQuaid

NOTES: McQuaid Jesuit scored first but "jet lag" set in and Haverling took the lead at the start of the second quarter and never looked back, It was the first win for the Rams over the Knights since 2004. Full Story

Schroeder 8 - Gates Chili 6

Webster Schroeder scored the final two goals to secure an 8-6 win over Gates Chili. The Warriors took a quick, early lead, scoring five unanswered goals to start the game. Jonathan Kay scored two goals in the opening quarter to help take that lead. Jared Griffin, Blake Balcaen and Matthew Montgomery scored the reaming three goals of the opening quarter. Full Story

Saturday: Schroeder, Hilton, Haverling, AQ All Win

On the last day of vacation there were five games played. Penn Yan lost in overtime in their game at CBA and Schroeder used a two-goal run at the end of the game to beat visiting Gates Chili. Full Story

Tuesday: Brockport Over Eastridge

After more than a half dozen games were postponed today, the only game left saw Brockport defeating Eastridge 16-13 with senior midfielder scoring 5g-1a for the Blue Devils. Full Story

HF-L Takes Irondequoit 9-8

Sophomore midfielder Garrett Ruff scored the final four goals for HF-L to give them a 9=8 victory and their first win over Irondequoit in program history. The Eagles led for nearly the entire game before Ruff brought them on top with 7:53 remaining in the game. Although both teams had chances in the final minutes, the Cougars were able to hold off any additional scoring for Irondequoit. Full Story

For the first time in program history, the Cougars beat the Eagles tonight with a score of 9-8. Full Story

NOTES: After losing to Penfield the last four times, Fairport defeated the Patriots 12-8 tonight. The Red Raiders scored five unanswered goals spanning the end of the second and start of the third quarters to take the 10-3 lead. Full Story

Gates Chili Beats Lightning

NOTES: Gates-Chili defeated Gates Arcadia/Olympia 12-9. The Spartans scored the first six unanswered goals before Greece Arc/Oly got on the scoreboard. The Lightning scored six of the next seven to bring the game to 8-6 late in the third quarter. Joseph O`Hare had another big game for the Spartans and finished with (4g-2a). Full Story

NOTES: Aquinas senior midfielder Jamir Jones led the offense with 5g-3a. Gananda senior defenseman Dylan Joy has ten ground balls and junior attackman Ryan Finnegan scored his first goal for the Blue Panther Varsity. Full Story

Saints Over Spencerport

After a scoreless first quarter, Churchville-Chili scored three goals during a non-releasable penalty to start off scoring on their way to a 13-10 win over Spencerport. The game was all about scoring runs. The first quarter had no scoring with both goalies coming up with big saves. Matt Cobb (Churchville-Chili) had 4 in the first quarter and nine overall and Connor MacKenzie (Spencerport) had 5 in the first quarter and eleven overall. Full Story

Thursday: Eleven Games - Mostly Mismatches

On the biggest night thus far, there were eleven games played and the closest game was three goals as Gates Chili held off a last flurry of goals from the Greece Lightning, winning 12-9 and Churchville-Chili who defeated Spencerport 13-10. Full Story

A number of teams took the opportunity to play out of section teams today. Only Webster Thomas was walked away with a win. In section, however, Schroeder beat Eastridge and Wayne beat Gates Chili. Full Story

Hoseheads in a Close Win vs Pal-Mac

NOTES: Pal-Mac took 41 shots with 21 on goal. The Horseheads Goalie had 19 Saves in the game. Full Story

CA Defeats Irondequoit

NOTES: It was a game of two halves with weather that included snow, rain and sun. Irondequoit led 5-2 at the halftime break, but Canandaigua came back in the third with Mitchell Schaefer scoring three of his 4g-2a in a row to tie and then hold on the the lead for the rest of the game. Full Story

Aquinas in Double OT

NOTES: In the closest game of the night, Aquinas defeated Canisius 12-11 in the second overtime period. Without a Canisius roster, a goal for goal recount would be difficult to read. Tuesday: Brighton Takes Thomas and AQ wins in OT

Brighton`s Brady McDermott scored with 0:59 remaining in regulation to secure a 14-13 win over Webster Thomas. Aquinas used two overtime periods to secure their win from Canisius as all but one team in the section played games today. Full Story
