Classifications to change again in 2010-2011

The State Lacrosse Committee recently announced that the classifications will change again for the 2011 season. Class A schools will have 1,050 students or more (currently 1,100). Class B schools will have between 650 and 1,049 (currently 650 to 1,099). Class C schools will have 649 or less (currently the same).

Based on the 2010-2011 (BEDS) student population figures, Thomas will move from Class B to Class A while Hilton and Churchville-Chili will move from Class A to Class B in 2011. There will be nine teams in Class A, eleven in Class B and fifteen in Class C under the new plan.

This is the second adjustment since the 2008 season.
