Nicolay's Four Goals End Brighton's Unbeaten Run

THOMAS-12 at BRIGHTON-7 - Thomas handed Brighton its first loss of the season with a 12-7 Monroe County D-2 win Friday evening at Brighton, scoring seven unanswered goals in the second quarter to break the game open. The win gives Thomas a 20-8 all-time edge in the series.

For Thomas (4-2), sophomore Jake Nicolay led with four goals and three assists, while sophomore Lucas Estelle added three goals. Sophomore Jonah Jobson contributed two goals, and junior Lucas Nuccotelli added one goal and two assists. Junior Carter Chase chipped in one goal and two assists. Senior Joshua Jobson stopped seven shots for a 58% save percentage in 36 minutes, and sophomore Eli Van Schaffel added three saves for 60% in 12 minutes.
