Brighton Edges Penn Yan 12-11

PENN YAN-11 at BRIGHTON-12 - Brighton picked up a 12-11 non-league win over Penn Yan on Tuesday evening at home in the teams' fourth all-time meeting and Brighton's first victory in the series. The game was tied after each of the first two quarters before Brighton pulled ahead in the third and held on in the fourth.

For Brighton (5-1), sophomore Kiki Condon led with three goals and two assists, while seventh-grader Red Wolk and sophomore Austin Flaum each added two goals and two assists. Junior Tim Tourangeau contributed two goals and one assist, and senior Ben Marangola added one goal and three assists. Gavin Hayslip went 13-for-27 at the faceoff dot (48%).

For Penn Yan (3-3), junior Miles Ditzell led with four goals and one assist, while senior Braden Fingar and junior Mike Gigliotti each added two goals and one assist. Senior Tukker Fisher contributed two goals and senior Levi Fisher added one goal. Sophomore Greyson Hathway went 14-for-26 at the faceoff dot (54%). Junior Jaxon Jensen stopped five shots for a 63% save percentage in 18 minutes.
