D`Amico`s Four Goals Lead Geneva Past Waterloo

GENEVA-13 at WATERLOO-0 - Geneva picked up a 13-0 non-league win at Waterloo on Thursday evening, scoring six goals in the first quarter to set the tone. The Panthers improve to 4-0.

For Geneva (4-0), junior Jacob D'Amico led with four goals, while senior Ryland Dunham added three goals and seventh-grader Nick Mateo Jr contributed three goals, including his first varsity goal. Junior Jack Dunham chipped in two goals and three assists, and senior Ben Budgar added two assists. Mateo Jr also went 11-for-16 at the faceoff dot (69%). Junior Owen Marquart was perfect in goal, stopping five shots for a 100% save percentage in 48 minutes.

For Waterloo (0-3), senior Dylan Acquilano turned in a solid effort in goal, stopping 16 shots for a 55% save percentage in 48 minutes.
