Canandaigua Scores Three in Final 1:47 but Falls to OP

CANANDAIGUA-8 at ORCHARD PARK-9  - Orchard Park beat Canandaigua 9-8 Saturday morning in a non-league game, moving to 13-1. Canandaigua trailed 9-5 with under two minutes to play and scored three straight goals — from Ryan McKeegan, AJ Sterman and Patrick Olvany — to pull within one, but couldn't find the equalizer. No stats were available for Orchard Park at post-time. Canandaigua falls to 6-8.

For Canandaigua, McKeegan, Landon Mortier, Sterman and Olvany each scored two goals, with Sterman adding two assists and Olvany one. In goal, senior Quentin Shedrick made six saves on 15 shots over 48 minutes.

Canandaigua travels to Spencerport on Wednesday.
