IRONDEQUOIT-4 at PENFIELD-15  - Penfield beat Irondequoit 15-4 Wednesday evening in a non-league game, moving to 11-4. Senior Colin Miller reached 500 career faceoff wins, finishing 17 for 21. Penfield scored six consecutive goals in the second quarter to pull away. Seven different Patriots scored. Irondequoit falls to 8-7.

Junior Jake Maurer led Penfield with four goals and an assist, while Brodie Joyce added three goals and three assists. Tyler Pavone contributed three goals, Harrison Easton scored two, and Griffin Banister, Manny Castro and Nick Dicataldo each added one. In goal, senior Mason Schembri made 10 saves on 14 shots (71%) over 45 minutes.

For Irondequoit, Kieran Stenzel scored two goals and Dylan Carey distributed three assists. Colin Giudice and Hank Velepec each added one goal.

Penfield hosts Churchville-Chili on Monday evening. Irondequoit travels to Spencerport on Tuesday.
