Ellison's Seven Points Lead Waterloo

GANANDA-1 at WATERLOO-16  - Waterloo beat Gananda 16-1 Thursday evening, moving to 4-10. Ten different Warriors scored, and sophomore Maxwell Marquart scored his first career varsity goal. No stats were available for Gananda at post-time.

Jaidyn Ellison led Waterloo with three goals and four assists, while Kyle Shangraw added three goals and Walter Bennett contributed two goals and three assists. Gavin Jacobsen scored two goals, and Nathan Disanto, Drake Alger, Trevor Trumble, Kayden Zona, Trevor Bush and Marquart each added one. In goal, senior Dylan Acquilano made six saves on seven shots (86%) over 30 minutes and sophomore Seth Kinne was perfect with four saves over 18 minutes.

Waterloo travels to Mynderse-Romulus on Friday evening. Gananda hosts Livonia-Avon-Geneseo on Tuesday.
