State poll number six is out today and the eight Section Five teams made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Fairport moves up from #5 to #2 and Thomas remains in #9. Pittsford remains on the Honorable Mention list in Class A.

In Class B, Irondequoit moves up from the 8th to #5 and Canandaigua moves from #10 to #6 while Brighton remains on the Honorable Mention list.

In Class C, Penn Yan remains in the fourth place and Aquinas remains in the number ninth spot.

The top spots in week three go to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Corning East (Section 4) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
