Senior midfielder Grant Howard recently signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his studies and play lacrosse at Walsh University (North Canton, Ohio) after his high school graduation from Newark this spring.

In his two years on the varsity thus far, Grant has a record of 13g-15a and in the off season has played with the Rochester Fire Lacrosse Club, the Finger Lakes Storm Lacrosse Club and the Double Cross (Box) program.

The Walsh University Cavaliers play in the ECAC-II conference and is an NCAA Division II program. They started their varsity program in 2013. Alex Skvarch is the current Head Coach in his first year after having served as an Assistant Coach last year.
