The week number seven state poll is out today and thirteen Section Five teams make the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

In Class A, Fairport remains at number 9 and Pittsford remains at number 14.

In Class B, Canandaigua remains at number 3. Thomas remains at number six. Brighton remains at number 14 while McQuaid Jesuit and Irondequoit remain on the Honorable Mention list this week.

In Class C, Penn Yan drops from number 9 to HM while Geneva moves from HM to number 10 and Aquinas remains at number 12. Palmyra-Macedon, Midlakes, Penn Yan and Bloomfield-Honeoye are on the Honorable Mention list.

The top spots in week six go to West Islip (Section 11) in Class A, Jamesville-DeWitt (Section 3) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
