Rising senior defenseman Ethan Parks recently announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse at SUNY Cortland after his senior year with the Penfield Patriots.

The fast-moving defenseman who is not afraid to take the ball up-field gave the Patriots two assists and earned MC-D1 second team honors last season.

A long-time member of the Blaze Lacrosse Club, Ethan has played with the club for four seasons. In addition, he played on the Nike UpState Rising Sophomore team and the Nike UpState Rising Junior team.

This summer Ethan was a member of the Rochester team playing in the Brine National Lacrosse Classic where he was named to the All-Star team.
