Schroeder Falls to St. Francis in 2 OT
Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: St Francis (Section VI) used two overtime periods to beat Schroeder 12-11 in the only game played today.
The Warriors took a one goal lead after the first quarter and led at the half 6-4. The Red Raiders forced their way back picking up one extra goal in the third and one extra goal in the last quarter setting up overtime. The game-winner was a fast break goal by long stick defenseman Sam Chiavetta. [St. Francis stats unavailable.] Leading the scoring of Schroeder were senior midfielder Nick Hauman (3g-3a), senior attackman Brady Ruffalo (3-1) and sophomore middie Anthony DeRosa (1g-3a). Sophomore goalie Casey Berns made 16s (67%) in the cage and senior Nick Tumminelli won 17 of 26 (65%) faceoffs.Nick Hauman suprassed 100 points in the game. Schroeder will play HF-L on Saturday.
