Catching Up: Nick Weston Signs with Syracuse
Former HF-L and Aquinas midfielder Nick Weston announced last month that he will study and play at Syracuse University after his graduation this spring from the Salisbury School in Connecticut where he played for Head Coach Robert Wynne (Hobart '94) and assistant Coach Tim Randall (Penfield-Cornell).
Weston had a dramatic career in Section Five, scoring 56g-36a in his freshman and junior years at HF-L and an additional 24g-19a in his sophomore year at Aquinas.
After his sophomore year he was named on to the ESPN 2013 Watch List and the Inside Lacrosse Top 50 Rising Juniors (at #22). He was a Brine All American, played on the Rochester Brogden Cup Championship team in 2012 and made the Under Amour All American team in 2013.
