Over the summer months, Fairport senior defenseman Joe Arcarese made his verbal commitment to attend and play at Siena (Loudonville, NY). A two year starter for the Raiders, Arcarese had played on the Nike Upstate teams for three years and was a Brine National High School All-American, playing for the Rochester team. He is a three year player with Blaze Lacrosse and has played both close defense and long stick midfielder.

Siena is an NCAA Division I school playing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the 2012 season at 11-5 for Head Coach John Svec who finished his first year with the Saints with a perfect 6-0 league record. After his last year at Fairport, Arcarese will expect to join Justin Rehm, who played his senior year last season at Penfield.
