Penfield earned a 12-8 victory over Rush-Henrietta in their MC-D1 league matchup on Tuesday night. Penfield built an early lead, scoring four goals in the first quarter and five in the second. Rush-Henrietta responded with three goals in the opening frame but managed just one in the second. After a low-scoring third quarter, Penfield added two more goals in the final period to secure the win, while Rush-Henrietta put up four late goals.

Penfield’s offense was led by Brodie Joyce, who tallied three goals and two assists, and Griffin Banister, who also contributed three goals with one assist. Jake Maurer and Manny Castro each scored two goals, while Cole Bellerose added one goal and two assists. Aaron Hardaway registered one goal, and Michael Moxley provided an assist. In goal, Mason Schembri made 13 saves on 21 shots, finishing with a 62% save rate.
