Tully Outpaces Mynderse-Romulus

Tully secured a 20-10 win over Mynderse-Romulus in a non-league game on Friday evening at Mynderse. The visiting team started strong, scoring six goals in the first quarter and maintaining a steady offensive output throughout the game. Mynderse-Romulus managed to put up ten goals but was unable to close the gap. Griffin Hilimire led the home team with seven goals, while Jack Brady and Hunter Kurdziolek added two and one respectively. Owen Levis, Trace Parish, Jerimiah Fils, and Aiden McLeod contributed assists.

Despite a four-goal second quarter from Mynderse-Romulus, Tully kept up the pressure, scoring five in the same period and adding four in the third. Mynderse-Romulus tallied three goals in the third quarter and two more in the fourth, but Tully finished strong with five goals in the final stretch. Defensive efforts were evident, but Mynderse-Romulus could not match Tully’s consistent scoring.

Mynderse-Romulus, now holding a 3-7 record, will look to rebound when they face Newark on Monday at 5:00 PM. Tully, improving to 4-7 on the season.   [ Story and BOX SCORE
