2026 Preview: Victor
Victor Sets Sights on Another Strong Run
Roster Outlook
Victor enters the 2026 season following a 14-5 campaign and returns a substantial portion of its production despite graduating one of the largest senior classes in Section V.

The Blue Devils lost 15 seniors, including key contributors at every position such as Dennis Cole, Dante Pezzimenti, JT Ricci, Kyle Saeger, Brody Secker, and both goalies Carter Fries and Landon Tantillo. Several of these graduates earned major postseason honors, leaving meaningful roles to fill across the field.
Even with those departures, Victor retains 61% of its goals and 63% of its assists from last season. The roster includes ten rising seniors, five juniors, and six sophomores, giving the team a balanced mix of experience and youth heading into 2026.

Coaching Information
Victor continues under Head Coach Dan Stone, who enters his sixth season leading the program. Stone holds an impressive 81-15 record at Victor, matching his overall scholastic mark. His leadership has guided the Blue Devils through deep postseason runs, and he returns to a roster with both proven talent and emerging contributors. Coach Stone sees the need for older players to help develop younger ones. "Leadership became a priority and many players stepped up taking roles to guide our work through the off-season. Experienced players and alums have helped accelerate the learning curve for our younger players, who have worked hard to develop their skill and athleticism.
Every play, every day is an opportunity to learn and get better."
Statistical Overview
Victor scored 222 goals last season, averaging 11.7 per game, while allowing 152 goals at an average of 8.0. Twelve games were decided by five goals or fewer, including two one-goal wins and two one-goal losses. With more than half of its scoring returning and a strong defensive core back, Victor enters 2026 with a solid statistical foundation.
