Rush-Henrietta Opens Season with Win
Rush-Henrietta opened its Monroe County D-1 season with a 20-1 win over East United-Eastridge on Tuesday with Head Coach London Booker returning to the sidelines. Eleven different players found the net for the Royal Comets, who improved to 6-0 all-time against East United-Eastridge dating back to 2021.
Leading Rush-Henrietta (1-0) were sophomore midfielder Zachary Winner (5g), freshman attackman Luke Lippincott (3g-1a), senior midfielder Ronin Walker (2g-2a), junior attackman Brayden Towner (2g-2a), and senior face off midfielder Preston Jackson (2g-2a), who reached 51 career goals in the contest. Junior attackman Anthony Valenti added one goal and one assist. Four players scored their first career varsity goals: sophomore attackman Myles Weaver, junior defensive midfielder Ryder Zuchegno, freshman midfielder Noah Valenti, and sophomore Raydyn Phommaxaysy-Barker. Lippincott and Anthony Valenti each recorded their first varsity assists as well. No stats were available from East United-Eastridge (0-1) at post-time.
Rush-Henrietta will travel to Brighton on Thursday, March 26 at 7:00 PM. East United-Eastridge will host Gates Chili on Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 PM.
