Tortora surpassed former All-American Matt Kaiser's mark of 154 with a seven-goal performance, pushing his career total past the record. Spencerport built a 7-0 lead through three quarters before Horseheads scored four goals in under two minutes to open the fourth.

For Spencerport (4-0), Tortora led with seven goals and two assists, while eighth-grader Maddox Harding added two goals and sophomore Gavin Brown chipped in one goal and one assist. Sophomore James Newtown stopped 12 shots for a 71% save percentage in goal.
