Terrance's Four Goals Lead Victor Past Schroeder
VICTOR-14 at SCHROEDER-2 - Victor extended its winning streak against Schroeder with a 14-2 Monroe County D-2 win Friday evening at Schroeder, scoring 12 unanswered goals at one point to pull away. Seven different players scored for the Knights, who improve to 4-1.
For Victor (4-1), sophomore Nathan Terrance led with four goals, while junior Jackson Mead added two goals and three assists. Senior Will Johnson and senior Gage Hay each added two goals, and AJ Finochario contributed two goals. Asher Tantillo scored his first varsity goal, and Terrance also scored his first varsity goal. Sophomore Ravi Chitre picked up his first varsity assist. Sophomore Eli Ricci went 13-for-18 at the faceoff dot (72%). Junior Will Simpson was perfect in goal for 30 minutes, stopping five shots, and sophomore Kijo Smith added three saves for 60% in 18 minutes.
For Schroeder (2-5), junior John Caricati and junior JD Stockmann each scored one goal, and junior Aiden Vollmer picked up his first varsity assist. Junior Van Bolton stopped 21 shots for a 60% save percentage in 48 minutes.
