Penfield senior midfielder, Andrew Powlin has recently verbally committed to the study and play lacrosse for the Rochester Institute of Technology.

One of the top lacrosse schools in the country, RIT plays in the NCAA division III Liberty league conference and is coached by Jake Coon. RIT has made an appearance in the past 6 NCAA tournaments including and appearance in the finals in 2013.

Powlin plans to major in engineering at RIT starting in the fall of 2017, but first he will get to play his third year on the Patriot Varsity.

Before choosing RIT, Powlin considered Le Moyne, Western New England and Oswego.
