Penfield Gets Another Win

PENFIELD-17 at GREECE STORM-2 - Penfield picked up a 17-2 Monroe County D-1 win at Greece Storm on Tuesday evening, scoring 15 straight goals at one point and extending its all-time record against the Storm to eight-for-eight. Twelve different players scored for the Patriots, who improve to 6-3.

For Penfield (6-3), junior Griffin Banister reached 50 career varsity goals with two goals and one assist, pushing his total to 51. Senior Brodie Joyce, senior Manny Castro, senior Colin Miller, and sophomore Tyler Pavone each added two goals, with Joyce and Castro each contributing one assist. Junior Harrison Easton added one goal and two assists. First varsity goals went to junior Greyson Caswell and junior Jace Wilkins, with Caswell also picking up his first varsity assist along with sophomore Nick DiCataldo. Miller went 10-for-15 at the faceoff dot (67%). Senior Mason Schembri was perfect in goal, stopping two shots for a 100% save percentage in 24 minutes.

For Greece Storm (1-9), sophomore Michael Atseff III led with two goals, with senior James Maccallini picking up one assist. Senior Eric Odell went 11-for-20 at the faceoff dot (55%).
