MIDLAKES-5 at PENN YAN-19  - Penn Yan advanced to the Section V Class D final with a 19-5 win over Midlakes on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to 12 and improving to 15-3. Braden Fingar and freshman Logan Sprague each scored five goals, with Fingar adding three assists. Tukker Fisher contributed three goals and three assists, pushing his career assist total to 103. Greyson Hathway went 20-for-23 at the faceoff dot, and Jameson Milroy was perfect in nine minutes of work in net.

For Midlakes, Nate Lathrop led with two goals and an assist and Brendan Baldwin added two goals. Stuart Quku made 14 saves in net. Midlakes finishes 14-4. Penn Yan will play Pal-Mac on Saturday.
