We have been able to collect information about coaching honors from various sources starting from around 2000.
For many of the awards, the coaches in the league or section vote of the annual recipient. Most recently, the various divisions of the Monroe County League vote for their own Coach (and Person) of the year and then the entire MC coaches vote for a single coach to be moved forward with nominees from the other leagues to submit a single nominee for the national award.
Rochester Chapter of USA Lacrosse (formerly USLacrosse) and the National Hall of Fame honors are also listed and are, we believe, complete.
