Livonia-Avon-Geneseo cruised to an 18-2 non-league win over winless Gananda, highlighted by Rider VanZandt's 50th career goal, first varsity goals for Zach Gardiner and Nick Simons, and 11 different goal scorers on the night.

Fischer Sleeman scored five goals to reach his 50th career goal and Tariku Blueye added four to reach his 150th as Marcus Whitman edged L-A-G 11-10 Wednesday evening, while VanZandt reached 400 career faceoff wins and Szymanski hit 200 career saves in the loss.

Marco Vengoechea scored his 100th career goal and Jackson Coon reached his 50th career assist as Honeoye Falls-Lima beat L-A-G 17-7 Saturday evening, with Jason Bennett also reaching 400 career saves and L-A-G's Brian Gibbs recording his first career varsity assist.

Rider VanZandt scored five goals and reached 300 career faceoff wins as Livonia-Avon-Geneseo beat Bloomfield-Honeoye 11-8 Tuesday evening to extend its winning streak to eight games, with Brayden Arber's four goals and three assists from Will Schweitzer also standing out.

DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Tuesday featured a string of career milestones, with Pal-Mac's Max Hill scoring his 100th career goal in a 19-8 win over MarcusWhitman.

Will Schweitzer scored his 50th career goal and goalie Ayden Szymanski reached 100 career saves as Livonia-Avon-Geneseo beat Brockport 8-5 Saturday to extend its winning streak to seven games.

Rider VanZandt reached 400 career faceoff wins and added three goals and an assist Thursday night.

LAG won 15-6 at Waterloo Monday evening behind four goals and two assists from VanZandt.

DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - Monday's action featured Churchville-Chili's Jaxon Leonard reaching 200 career points in an 11-0 win over Brockport, where Leiston and Marra combined for a perfect afternoon in goal and first varsity goals went to Austin Gefelland Logan Vujanovic.

LAG won 8-7 Thursday evening on Ackerman's goal with 11 seconds left.

McQuaid's John Burrows scored in overtime to edge Thomas 10-9 as Domenic Giangreco reached 50 career goals, while Brighton's Austin Flaum hit the same milestone with four goals in a 14-10 win at Pal-Mac.

LAG won 21-8 Tuesday afternoon behind six goals and two assists from Will Schweitzer, three goals and three assists from Owen Schweitzer.

The boys lacrosse action was packed with milestones and close finishes.

Livonia‑Avon‑Geneseo enters the 2026 season looking to build on the lessons of a 6–11 campaign in 2025. The team experienced a mix of results, with four wins by more than five goals and six games decided within five.

Livonia-Avon-Geneseo won a back-and-forth game against Marcus Whitman, finishing 15-10. The teams traded leads and tied six times before Livonia-Avon-Geneseo’s third-quarter scoring burst shifted momentum. Will Schweitzer (five goals) and Max McEnerney (four goals) led the scoring effort, while Rider VanZandt excelled at faceoffs. Marcus Whitman’s Ayden Clark netted seven goals in a strong performance. Goalie Colton Rose finished with an 11-save, 52% effort, securing the victory.

Pal-Mac remained undefeated with a 17-4 victory over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo. Leading scorers for Livonia-Avon-Geneseo included Max McEnerney with two goals, Colin Molinari with one, and Henry Walters with a goal and an assist. Goalie Colton Rose reached his 200th save milestone, finishing with a 51% save rate. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo now prepares to host Mynderse-Romulus, while Pal-Mac looks ahead to its matchup against Geneva.

Wayne defeated Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 14-13 in a close contest. Wayne's Mason Michel led all scorers with seven goals and three assists, while teammate Tas Strickland had five goals and reached his 100th career goal. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo's top scorer was Will Schweitzer with five goals, followed by Henry Walters with four goals and an assist. Both goalies made key saves, with Wayne's Gavin Hamel stopping 18 shots and Livonia-Avon-Geneseo's Colton Rose recording 15. Wayne maintained its early lead despite a strong third-quarter push from Livonia-Avon-Geneseo.

Bloomfield-Honeoye defeated Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 15-9 in an FL-D1 league matchup. John Blair, who set a new school record for assists and points, led with four goals and six assists, while Tyler Bruder added five goals. Goaltender Ethan Stoddard recorded eight saves. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo’s offense was led by Max McEnerney with three goals, and goaltender Colton Rose posted 23 saves with a 61% save rate and passed his 400th save milestone.

Midlakes secured a 12-4 victory over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo, with James Sprague leading the offense with four goals and five assists. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo saw scoring efforts from Will Schweitzer and Max McEnerney, while their goalie, Colton Rose, posted 17 saves. Midlakes’ goalie, Stuart Quku, registered a strong performance with 14 saves and a 78% save percentage.

Livonia-Avon-Geneseo won against Newark with a 17-3 score in their FL-D1 league game. Henry Walters led with five goals and an assist, while goalie Colton Rose had 12 saves and a 80% save rate. Newark’s Sam Underhill scored all three of his team’s goals. The third quarter saw Livonia-Avon-Geneseo pull away, scoring eight times. Freshman Connor Duryea celebrated his first varsity goal in the match. Next, Livonia-Avon-Geneseo hosts Midlakes, and Newark faces Gates Chili.

Livonia-Avon-Geneseo defeated Brockport 11-1 in a lacrosse match today. Freshman Rider VanZandt won eleven face-offs with a 73 percent success rate, while senior goalie Colton Rose saved ten shots with one goal allowed, achieving a 91 percent save rate. Nikolai Hanna and Max McEnerney led scoring with three goals each, supported by teammates Will Schweitzer, Rider VanZandt, Henry Walters, and Joey Cinquino. Brockport`s lone goal came in the second quarter. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo prepares for their next game against Greece Storm.

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - In today’s lacrosse matchups, Pittsford continued its dominance with a 16-10 victory, fueled by standout performances from Grant Lewis, Max Morgenstern, and goalie Bear Wehrheim.

Geneva earned an 8-7 win over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo in a close game. Geneva`s offense was led by Max Heieck with three goals and one assist, while Livonia-Avon-Geneseo`s Henry Walters scored three goals. Goalies Brent Williams (Geneva) and Colton Rose (Livonia-Avon-Geneseo) recorded 53% and 67% save percentages, respectively. Both teams fought through each quarter, with Geneva maintaining a narrow advantage.

Livonia-Avon-Geneseo defeated Gananda 13-5 in their Finger Lakes league game. Max McEnerney and Mason Groh were the leading scorers for their teams. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo's goalie Colton Rose recorded sixteen saves at 76%, while Gananda’s Nick Falso made fourteen saves at 52%.

*+Pal-Mac stepped up in the fourth quarter to defeat Livonia-Avon 4-3.  In a game that was plagued with penalties, the teams both had multiple attempts at extra-man offense.  The Red Raiders converted on two of their attempts while the Lakers could not convert on any of their attempts.  The man-down defense for Pal-Mac was a key factor of their win.

DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - There were 7 games played today and all of them were won by the high seeded teams except for one. In Class C, Livonia-Avon, HFL, and Geneva will join Pal-Mac who had a bye in the quarters. In Class D, Aquinas, Marcus Whitman, Penn Yan and Mynderse won their games. Marcus Whitman (#5) defeated Bloomfield-Honeoye (#4) 10-6.

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were two games played today and one was a close one. Livonia-Avon defeated Wayne by a score of 12-10. There is only one day left in the regular season.

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were sixteen games played today and one was a close one. Victor defeated Penfield by a score of 6-4. Other winners included Irondequoit over Canandaigua, Schroeder over Greece, and Geneva over Mynderse.

DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - There were five games played today and most were mismatches. Penn Yan led by two goals after three quarters but saw their lead lost when Carthage scored four goals including the game winner with 11 second left in regulation.

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - There were fourteen games played today and five were close ones. Victor defeated JD by a score of 9-8. HFL defeated Brighton by a score of 8-7. Canandaigua was a 7-5 winner over Penn Yan. Dryden was a 6-5 winner over Marcus Whitman. Spencerport was a 8-7 winner over Pittsford. 

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were 12 games played today and a couple were close ones. Newark was a 7-6 winner over Midlakes-Red Jacket. Irondequoit defeated Pittsford by a score of 7-6. Hilton and Thomas played a close game until the last quarter when the Cadets took off. CA was a 10-6 winner over Penfield and Marcus Whitman was a 10-7 winner over Gananda.

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - There were 16 games played today and 8 were close ones. Baldwinsville defeated Canandaigua 5-4. Wayne was a 12-10 winner over Bloomfield-Honeoye and Hilton was a 8-7 winner over Horseheads. Aquinas defeated Canisius by a score of 8-7. Greece Storm defeated Eden by a score of 8-6. Victor was a 10-9 winner over Niskayuna. Penn Yan was a 4-3 winner over Clarence and West Genesee was a 10-8 winner over Penfield.
