PITTSFORD-14 at CANANDAIGUA-5 - Pittsford stayed unbeaten Greece at Newarkwith a 14-5 non-league win at Canandaigua on Saturday afternoon, rallying from a 3-2 first-quarter deficit with runs of five and eight straight goals to pull away. The Panthers improve to 5-0 while Canandaigua falls to 0-3.

For Pittsford (5-0), junior Grant Lewis led with five goals, while senior Avery Valenti added three goals and two assists and junior Trevor Nally contributed three goals. Junior Cole Goetz added one goal and three assists, and freshman Griffin Goetz and Ben Zombek each chipped in one goal. Griffin Goetz scored his first varsity goal and junior Madin Larose recorded his first varsity assist. Senior Peter Roussell reached 300 career faceoff wins, adding one win on the day to reach the milestone exactly. Freshman Keegan Jacob went 13-for-17 at the faceoff dot (76%), and freshman Bear Wehrheim stopped 11 shots for a 73% save percentage in 44 minutes.

For Canandaigua (0-3), five players scored goals, with junior Kyle Farrington and junior Jake Kingston each scoring their first varsity goal. GREECE STORM-18 at NEWARK-10 - Greece Storm picked up its first win of the season with an 18-10 non-league victory at home on Saturday, with Eric Odell going 25-for-26 at the faceoff X to fuel the offense. The loss was notable for Newark's Sam Underhill, who reached 200 career varsity goals despite his team falling to 0-2.

IRONDEQUOIT-12 at BALDWINSVILLE-15 - Baldwinsville handed Irondequoit its second loss of the season 15-12 on Saturday, with Irondequoit holding an 8-7 lead after three quarters before Baldwinsville outscored the Eagles 7-2 in the fourth. Senior Cooper Moore reached 200 career varsity goals during the game, finishing with two goals to hit the milestone exactly.

For Irondequoit (3-2), sophomore Kieran Stenzel and senior Colin Giudice each led with three goals, with Giudice adding one assist. Senior Dylan Carey and senior Riley Grisdale each Greece at Newarkcontributed two goals and two assists, and Moore added two goals to reach his career milestone. Sam Thore contributed eight ground balls, four takes, and three faceoff wins.

The win extends Schroeder's all-time record against Wayne to a perfect six-for-six since 2017.

For Pittsford at CanandaiguaSchroeder (1-4), junior John Caricati led with four goals and went 16-for-18 at the faceoff dot (89%), while junior JD Stockmann added three goals and one assist. Senior Matt Schilling contributed two goals and two assists, and juniors Rory Champlin and Casey Pagano each added two goals, with both scoring their first varsity goals. Sophomore Kai Nelson chipped in one goal and two assists. Junior Brady Mason picked up four assists and senior Ethan Anderson added two assists, with both recording their first varsity assists. # 4075  Wegman's 7 Goals, Valenti's 6 Highlight Busy Tuesday

DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY -  Tuesday's boys lacrosse action featured big individual performances at both ends of the state. Aquinas freshman Parker Wegman posted seven goals in a 16-3 win at Newark, while Pittsford's Avery Valenti added six goals and two assists in a 20-10 win over Irondequoit that handed the Eagles their first loss of the season. In a pair of road games against out-of-section opponents, Penfield fell 13-5 at Garden City despite 18 saves from Mason Schembri, and Victor dropped a 9-8 decision at St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida despite two goals and three assists from Jackson Mead, with St. AQ at NewarkThomas Aquinas scoring the go-ahead goal with just over 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Thomas also picked up a 16-10 win at Baldwinsville, though no statistics were available at post-time. 

PITTSFORD-20 at IRONDEQUOIT-10 - Pittsford handed Irondequoit its first loss of the season Tuesday afternoon, winning 20-10 in a non-league game at Irondequoit. The Panthers jumped out to a 13-6 halftime lead and pulled away with six more goals in the third quarter. Nine different players scored goals for Pittsford.

For Pittsford (3-0), senior midfielder Avery Valenti led the way with six goals and two assists, while junior Grant Lewis added four goals and three assists and Max Morgenstern chipped in three goals. Trevor Nally contributed two goals and two assists, and Cole Goetz added one goal and three assists. Sophomore Luke Jutzin scored his first varsity goal and senior Doug Blalock recorded his first varsity assist. Freshman Keegan Jacob went 14-for-17 at the faceoff dot (82%), and senior Peter Roussell added eight wins in 13 attempts (62%).

For Irondequoit (2-1), sophomore Kieran Stenzel led with four goals, while senior Cooper Moore added three goals and one assist and senior Colin Giudice contributed two goals. AQUINAS-16 at NEWARK-3 - Aquinas picked up a 16-3 non-league win at Newark on Tuesday morning, scoring 10 goals in the first quarter and holding the Reds to two goals over the middle two quarters. Eight different players scored for Aquinas, and the win extends the Little Irish's all-time record against Newark to 10-0.

For Aquinas (1-1), freshman attackman Parker Wegman led with seven goals and one assist, while senior Jack Bell contributed four assists and senior midfielder Cam Stewart added one goal and two assists. Connor Williams chipped in two goals and one assist, and Kellan Campe added two goals. Four players scored their first varsity goals: Stewart, sophomore Bryce Miller, sophomore Antonio Valerie, and junior Nolan O'Brocta. Four players also picked up their first varsity assists: Stewart, Miller, freshman Parker Wegman, and sophomore Connor Williams. Miller also went 16-for-18 at the faceoff dot (89%), and junior Mike Martell added four wins in five attempts (80%). For Penfield (1-2), senior attackman Brodie Joyce led with three goals, including two in the fourth quarter, while sophomore midfielder Tyler Pavone added two goals. VICTOR-8 at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS-9 - Victor dropped a tight 9-8 non-league decision at St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday night in Florida, with the lead changing hands multiple times. The Knights rallied to tie the game three times before St. Thomas Aquinas scored with 11:26 left in the fourth quarter to take the lead for good, with Victor getting one back from Eli Ricci at 9:15 but unable to complete the comeback.

For Victor (2-1), junior attackman Jackson Mead led with two goals and three assists, while senior midfielder Colin Wheeler, senior midfielder Gage Hay, and sophomore Eli Ricci each added two goals.
