2026-03-21 - Spencerport opened its season with an 18-4 non-league win over Grand Island (Section VI) on Saturday, at Grand Island Senior High School. The Rangers scored eight goals in the first quarter and never looked back, adding five more in the second to take a 13-2 lead at halftime. No goalie stats were available from either team.

Leading the offense for Spencerport (1-0) were Gavin Brown (5g-3a), Zach Tortora (4g), and Tyler Wentworth (3g-1a). Mason Endres contributed four assists, Patrick Keady added one goal and one assist, Nathan Marciano chipped in one goal and two assists, and Jake Ajavananda added one goal. Eighth grader Maddox Harding scored his first varsity goal and added one assist in the contest.
