The visiting Cougars kept Haverling scoreless in the third quarter to put the game away and moved to 2-0 on the season. The win extends Honeoye Falls-Lima's series advantage over Haverling to four wins against one dating back to 2016.

Honeoye Falls-Lima saw big nights from several players. Senior Marco Vengoechea and junior Cash Arena each scored four goals, with Vengoechea adding one assist. Senior Jackson Coon contributed three goals and two assists, and sophomore Ben Segar ran the offense with one goal and six assists. Junior Tanner Olin added two goals and one assist, and Austin Schor rounded out the scoring with one goal. Senior Alexander Meisenzahl picked up his first varsity assist in the win.
