The Thunder led 4-3 going into halftime before the Spartans held them scoreless for 28:43 spanning the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters. The Spartans were led in scoring by Joseph O`Hare with 3g. Midfielder Brian May (2g-1a) and Brett Kirkpatrick (1g-1a) also added to the scoring. O'Hare also finished with a team leading four ground balls.
