April 6, 2017 — Brighton took a four goal lead into the second half on their way to a 10-9 win over Hilton. The Barons had six players make their offensive scorebook in the win with Brett Randall leading in scoring with 3g-3a. Hilton was more spread out with ten players in their offensive book.
The Cadets scored the first goal with Zachary Mitrano scoring the opening goal unassisted. Brighton came back with the next three goals to take their first lead. Randall, Brady McDermott and Owen Ronchetti scored the Barons. Ben Mitrano scored another unassisted goal for Hilton to take the game to 3-2 Brighton at the end of the first quarter. They also scored the first goal of the second quarter to tie the game for the second time. Brenden Howell scored off an assist from Ben Mitrano.
