The home team jumped out early, scoring four goals in the first quarter and adding four more in the second, led by Ayden Clark with five goals and Logan Storms contributing a goal and two assists. CJ McNamara added two goals, while Tariku Blueye and Fischer Sleeman each had multiple contributions. Waterloo, who trailed 8-0 at the halftime break, came out with lots of energy despite the big deficit. Freshman attackman Jaidyn Ellison, who scored his first Varsity goal for the Tigers, got things rolling as the team responded in the second half with three goals in the third quarter and two in the fourth.
